The yarns come from small family run suppliers in Austria and Italy. From the first thread to the final stitch, everything is made in Europe under ethical and eco-aware conditions. STAPF’s signature fabric is Walk, a traditional boiled wool that is soft, strong and naturally weather resistant. It is knitted with care, washed in crystal clear water from the Austrian Alps, and produced using renewable energy. The result is premium knitwear that feels good, wears beautifully and is built to last.
