For over two decades, Elena Dosio and her team have been coaxing bronze and silver into forms that feel less like jewellery and more like relics from a dream. Each piece is born in a small Florentine atelier, shaped by hand using the ancient lost-wax casting method – a process that guarantees no two creations are ever alike.
The finish is raw, almost primal. Unpolished surfaces catch the light like artefacts unearthed from another time, while delicate engravings whisper of Etruscan elegance and forgotten myths.
These are stories cast in metal, fragments of imagination, tradition, and rebellion. The name Pesci Che Volano, meaning “flying fish,” nods to the surreal visions of Hieronymus Bosch and the brand’s refusal to follow convention. Each piece invites the wearer to drift beyond the expected, to embrace creativity as a form of identity.

Pesci Che Volano is a whimsical yet seriously traditional representation of Italian hand-crafted jewellery. Methods have been used for many hundreds of years – in fact, dating back to the Etruscans who inhabited parts of Italy between 900–27 BC.

The brand is inspired by surreal, almost fantastic ideas of Hieronymus Bosch – a pictorial artist who explored spiritual subjects. An element of this surrealism is woven into the designs, though they are also deeply connected to the ocean and its creatures.

Pesci Che Volano jewellery is made from bronze and silver – an interesting hard-wearing mixture of metallic elements. Combined, the colour becomes a matt light gold hue with darkened patina, giving the pieces a primeval Earthiness.

Pesci Che Volano is a sensuous, bold, mystical and playful brand that can be worn at every age. Think of wearing natural fibres and neutral tones to bring out the warmth and self-assuredness in your pieces.
